TOR Funniest or Dearest Memories.
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:07 PM »
Though we have only played TOR for a few months, I'm sure we all have memories we wish to record and share. Please post them so we can remember our good times.

I shall start. One of my many funniest memorys would be...

Doing a flashpoint with Masters Kor'keel and Narretas, and with master Kor'keels cousin. We got to this steep slope. Master Narretas, being who he is, decided to slide down it, thinking it would be ok. I remember seeing this strange blue twi'lek sliding faster and faster, shouting 'weeee!'.  But his brief moment of joy was ended and he hit the bottom, resulting in death. Being naive as I am, I decided to follow my masters example and also slide down this slope, killing myself. And typically, I encountered another glitch. Where no one could see me and I couldnt be revived.  ::)

I would like to see that one who DIDN'T try a ride on that slope....

Oh, I will personallly never forget that day we went to the datacron hunt on Nar Shaddaa. Me, Tomius and Scalarik, three brave jedis of 50th level, have arrived to the Nikto Sector... and spent almost an hour jumping on the same tubes.

But it was there that I've felt the real bond among three of us. We were helping each other to advance (or to get back after falling down), laughing around and facepalming (on me showing everyone how to move). And when we finally made it, the datacron was there, and we were standing besides it, feeling that we achieved an important thing, much more important than mere +3 aim... That was a great moment.

Too bad at this precise moment I had to go :\

A nice memory of mine is when I met Jedi Scalrik and Jedi Rikochet/Knight Rikochet. They were the ones that first showed me The Jedi Order. Jedi Scalarik told me about the order first. Jedi Rikochet helped me a bit on my class quest and he told me some more about The Jedi Order. I have been friends with him since. And when Jedi Scalarik showed me the Order, he also told me that The Jedi Order is like a family. After one day with The Jedi Order, I believed that I was among people who felt like brothers to me
That is my best memory. And it is something that reminds me of how one day I will become a member of the Order. Thank you for reading.

Probably a Karma episode.

A random player got himself tagged by a number of mobs - he ran past me, I thought I would help him out and started targetting them.    Except the *git* didnt stop he just carried on running and emoted laughing.     As it was I managed to take them down and one normal mob dropped a very nice epic/purple helm.     I let him know that sometimes good turns are rewarded - he wasnt particualarly happy  ;D

One clear memory to me is when padawan Hermesean was invited to one of mine and master Narretas's lessons. Master Narretas was busy showing off, until we got to the hanger where his ship had been stolen  :o that got his lekku in a twist.

^^^ I think his best line was when we found his ship missing "Oh not this again!" Id probably say Master Narretas is one if my funniest memories in TOR. MASTER NARRETAS WE MISS YOU.
