The Rakghoul Outbreak
« on: April 16, 2012, 11:09 AM »
At around 9:00p.m BST yesterday, it was announced on the Republic Fleet of an outbreak of Rakghouls on Tatooine. Naturally as hordes of civilians raced to leave the planet, the Jedi Order traveled in the opposite direction, gathering on the planet and searching the Dune Sea for a crashed ship described by the young Atem. Having found the crash site the Jedi forces (Hopefuls Kaymase and Frayfeather, Knight Kaeawc, Padawan Scalaik and myself) found hordes of Rakghouls and infected security personnel. Through tough fighting and destroying Rakghoul leaders we stemmed the tide, however many were infected, even ourselves had a few close shaves and there seems to be Imperial interest in the area as well, so we are by no means through with this crisis.

I have recently received even more worry word, some of the most fearsome beasts on Tatooine have been infected with the virus and must be dealt with immediately!

(( Ok so yesterday there was a live event: this included a host of new dailies on Tatooine which give you Rakghoul DNA, which can be traded in for Green/black Crystals and/or a Rakling pet.

In addition there are two new World Bosses and apparently Trapjaw has also been infected.

I suggest we make this the aim of the next RP event: helping lower  levelled members do the dailies, as some of the bosses are level 50, and to have a go at the new World Bosses - they are level 50 however so we will need our own 50s + some from other guilds which i believe Tomius and Riochet will be arranging.

We could do the dailies any time as im sure at least one of the 50s will usually be online to help, we could designate a couple of days a week to doing them together. However i would like to see whens best for people in regards to the World Bosses as we will need to field a strong team. So can people please say whether they are interested and when they can get on? Thankyou  :) ))

A few of the world bosses require around 15+ people

Yup I was hoping that we'd fill the spaces with members of RDC and/or other guilds
