I have been thinking about something. the Republic and the Empire have been at war for decades now, but have you ever asked yourself this: Why are we always fighting the Empire and killing their soilders? Yes, they may be threats, but SOME of the Imperials might have people who are close to them, and when they go to war, they almost always face death. The same thing might happen to our Republic troopers at times.
The servants of the Empire are actual living beings, just like us, but we Jedi don't see them as brutal, killing monsters. We respect even our worst enemies. In this war, loads of lives are lost, Jedi, Sith, Troopers, Imperials, any kind.
I know we don't have time to mourn the dead and we always move on, which is what I am doing now. But one day, this war will end. And whoever wins, will have to make a choice on what to do with the losing side. To me, I think the Republic and the Empire are not fighting for the galaxy anymore, they're just fighting.
