Saw some people in the server today

Awesome! Glad to see people are still taking interest in JKA.

What game do you like best in JKA?

For me, I don't think there's anything I like better than a good ol' FFA with way to many NPCs being spawned, ending up with the server crashing...

That, and of course finding new maps and exploring all the secrets (not a game, but still fun). Oh and that laser obstacle map which name i forgot.. again..

For me it's quite a different approach. JKA is so detailed in comparison to other games. Here you are able to be free, be the Jedi you want to be. You are free to jump against walls, have control of your lightsaber, and it all needs practise and effort to master the basic.

I love nearly all StarWars games but none like JKA. I never really played it until I started to learn members from JO. For me the JKA servers were very empty, they still are. But it brings a lot of colour back if people want to RolePlay with you and simply have some cool duels.

All KOTOR games and SWTOR are fine. They have great story, but it's all but pressing loads of buttons, and the animation what makes the attack cool, is all done automatically.

I've played Mount & Blade Warband for around 3 to 4 years. It's not the best looking game, but like JKA you have control of your sword. It's a fictional medieval game. People loved RolePlay in there, especially because one miss-block could mean your downfall, you would be dead and your family would be killed aswell. That's just the thrill, it's not just clicking buttons.

FFA is amazing, but I enjoy RP more than anything.

I've shifted my roleplay over to MMOs in recent years but there is nothing like an epic lightsaber duel. Even in RP servers I frequented in JKA, those were pivotal moments.

I simply love a good fight or a good starwars Roleplay. People can really wake me up for that :D Looking forward to the next event! When are we going to do some hunting? Like Jedi Tabaet post? And maybe we could organise a RP event on the JKA server. Like lightsaber instruction, history or a agility run. Would help with activity and is just really fun :D

We're waiting for Padawan Thyn'eah to get his laptop fixed before we go on the hunt. As for the rest, action-based rp (such as lightsaber instruction) could be great in JKA, but in general, I think rp is better, or at least easier, in SWTOR, because of custom emotes and a much smoother chat system. Plus, it looks so much better and we can roleplay our actual characters instead of using random skins  ;)

I think JKA is great for the detailed purpose. Like the lightsaber instructions or how to fly a ship. We also have our own Praxeum there, so we are able to study and duel in peace.

 For me I always wanted to be instructed like the Initiates at the Temple and grow up to be a Jedi Knight. Think about the Jedi Trials, I believe they would be much more detailed on JKA instead of SWTOR.

Master Scalarik and I had our opinions about that too. We could recreate the entire Jedi Temple on Coruscant (I know it already exists at KoTF) and have a much more detailed approach to everything. Although I agree with him that that would divide us at the moment.

I always imagined TOR to be great for adventures and events, travelling to other planets. Have exiting RP and battle with unknown threats.
But for example all seven forms could be explained at JKA. How does Shii-Cho or Soresu work? Being a Jedi in JKA gives me so much freedom and be the Jedi I would love to be.

So when the time is right, I would love to see us combine both! :D

i cant believe what im seeing, kor keel has returned, i need jka back in my life so i can play moviebattles, we might actually still have more than 8 active members if anybody supported my idea about 3 years ago lmao

Yes, there are a wave of hopefuls and new Padawans. Coming from JKA specifically. (Myself being one of the hopefuls) It seems to becoming more alive.
